Still
involved with the sport. Need a new kneecap but still managing
25 miles a week. I'm a committee member and handicapper for Inverdale
AC. Vice president and handicapper of the Scottish Veteran Harriers
Club. Track govenor for the Cowel Highland Gathering (biggest
and best highland games in the world, go to the website and see
what it is all about.) Coach and advisor to over 30 athletes but
still haven't got any coaching qualifications (another long story.)
Finally thanks to the officials and athletes in Annadale Striders,
and NI officials for making me most welcome and making my time
with the Striders really enjoyable. And a special thanks to Tony
McKnight, who sadly is no longer with us, for all those wonderful
phone calls we used to have.
